Philip Swinstead

Philip was one of the founders of the UK software industry. In 1982, his company became the first software house to conduct an IPO in the UK. Subsequently he founded Parity plc, an IT services business that grew to become a FTSE-250 company whilst he was chairman. He also founded the similarly sized GFI Informatique in France. Philip has been on the board of several investment trusts over the last 25 years and since September 2007 he has been working with the team on a number of potential transactions.
